Sales Manager (ARD)

OVERVIEW

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth for Construction Resources. The Territory Sales Manager will play a critical role in developing sales strategies, motivating the sales team, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The overarching goal is to maximize sales performance, expand the customer base, and ensure the overall success of the sales department by collaborating with retailers and other key stakeholders to increase market share and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, identify key opportunities, and set clear sales targets for the team.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to help team members improve their skills and achieve their full potential.
  • Develop sales plans, forecasts, and budgets for the sales team.
  • Monitor and track sales performance to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed to ensure sales objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by acting as the primary point of contact for accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of the sales team.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure the team remains competitive and knowledgeable.
  • Analyze sales data, trends, and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a minimum of 5 years’ experience achieving sales targets and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive results.
  • Proven history of success in sales management, with at least 7 years’ experience in a leadership role.
  • Adaptability and willingness to accept change in a rapidly evolving company.

WORK LOCATION
Onsite – In order to fulfill responsibilities of the Territory Sales Manager position, this job is required to work in a specific Construction Resources manufacturing, production, or office environment.
