Assembly Team Lead- 1st Shift

Responsibilities
• Assure manufacturing of products meets all customer requirements by working with operators and shift supervisors
• Maintain performance standards, data collection, and team review to set team target improvements
• Ensure all quality and production procedures are being followed
• Train operators on Work Standards, Customer Quality expectations
• Use of all Quality Inspection Equipment as required
• Issue Procedure Variances (PIR) and non-conformances
• Perform in-process checks as required during the shift
• Utilize BSP systems: AIS, PCS, IQMS, and others as needed
• Perform Incoming and Outgoing Inspection of molded products and assembly product
• Filing of Check sheets and other paperwork, as may be required
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Participate in training classes when offered
• Comply with Safety procedures and guidelines at all times
• Maintain a dependable attendance record
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Must be able to cover in the absence of the shift supervisor
• Effective communicator
• Good organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
• Able to visually inspect parts and see small details and defects
• May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
• Maintain a good attendance record
