Description:
Cadence International is an evangelical mission agency dedicated to reaching the military communities of the United States and of the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. For over six decades, Cadence has grown from a small, fledgling mission to an organization with over 200 missionaries who work in over 50 locations worldwide.
Purpose:
The Headquarters Volunteer will aid our staff as they support our Missionaries in perfecting their appointed ministries through administrative functions in the following departments: Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Communications and Operations.
Location: Headquarters - Englewood, CO
Ways to Serve:
- Communications:
- Mail Room - The volunteer can serve approximately two hours per week in the mail room to assist with the following duties:
- Forwarding bundled mail.
- Packaging first-time donor mailings (includes receipt and magazine).
- Updating staff address labels.
- Helping with receipts.
- The volunteer can service by assisting in the following duties:
- Assist with content editing.
- Offer grammatical advice on corporate materials.
- Review corporate communications for engaging text and stories.
- Human Resources:
- Create electronic files for all missionaries and employees
- Scan all hard copy documents into electronic files
- Purge files from archives
The decision to place a volunteer in a specific department will be based on the department's needs and the volunteer’s area of interest.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Born again, mature Christian with an affinity for the mission and work of Cadence International.
- Because of the distinctly Christian emphasis of Cadence’s mission work, willing to sign and comply with Cadence International’s Code of Christian Conduct.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
- Proficiency in general computer skills, Microsoft and internet applications.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:

The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, climb stairs, talk, listen, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
