Reports to: Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs
Job Summary: Provides a variety of assistance to support student opportunities for experiential learning in academic affairs. The works with several endowed programs on campus, including the Serenbetz Institute for Women’s Leadership, the Clark Institute for Women in Business, and the Harmon Chair in English to implement programming and opportunities for students.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supports and organized travel for students and faculty related to programs for endowed programs.
· Coordinates communication about endowment funded programs to students, faculty, and staff.
· Organizes document flow for student internships.
· Tracks spending for endowments and oversees purchasing requests and reimbursements for these accounts.
· Manages reporting for endowed accounts to institutional advancement.
· Coordinates endowment funded programs on campus such as workshops and speakers.
· Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people including faculty, staff, and students.
· Knowledge of interpersonal and organizational skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Ability to present a professional manner.
· Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, work independently and as a part of a team; and meet deadlines while managing ongoing interruptions.
· Ability to pay close attention to details.
Credentials and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree preferred
· Minimum of five years of relevant experience
· Previous experience in an academic setting desirable
