Our ABA therapists also work with teachers and parents to ensure they are using the proper ABA techniques needed to help children improve their behavior. FACILITIES TECHNICIAN in Plano and Frisco

Job Description:

 

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

Under the general direction of Management, ensures that all facilities are maintained and fully functioning at all times.  This includes scheduled maintenance, general maintenance and repair, which include, but are not limited to heating, ventilation and air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing, and maintaining supplies and inventory management for each location.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·          Diagnose and Repair: in such areas as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry,                               painting/wallpaper.

·          Complete Service Requests: to maintain scheduled and unscheduled building repairs consistent with company operating and                      equipment/supply standards, while maintaining a safe environment.

·          Maintain Inventory and Supply Tracking System: to effectively maintain operating needs of each location, including but not limited              to maintenance supplies and office supplies.

·          Perform general landscaping duties

·          Perform general janitorial services

·          Provide Customer Service: to guests and staff members in a manner that is professional, prompt and courteous correspondence               when scheduling and providing maintenance services, as well as with contracted vendors that provide  additional facility services.

·          Apply Policies and Procedures: such as, but not limited to, company operating and safety standards. Promote safe work practices              among on-site staff, as well as creating a safe environment for residences and guests.

·          Ensure Compliance: with all federal, state and local laws, specifically state regulations and building codes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment caring for both the internal and external needs of the facilities. This role routinely uses standard equipment, will be responsible for lifting up to 50-lbs, and will routinely travel between locations.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Standard hours are M-F 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., after operating hours and some weekend coverage as necessary.

 

TRAVEL

Travel is local during the business day between the Plano and Frisco facilities.

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·          High school diploma or equivalent

·          Minimum 2 years experience working in a facilities maintenance role.

·          Experience working in close proximity of clients and successfully demonstrating customer service.

·          Informing Others, Developing Standards, Promoting Process Improvement, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills

·          Team oriented
