Manager Position

"General Managers" have the primary and ultimate responsibility for the overall day-to-day management of an individual Papa John's restaurant. These duties include but are not limited to: ensuring product quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, restaurant profitability, management of all aspects of the operation related to employees, maintenance of production and sales records, store inventory, providing for the safety and security of employees, customers and company property, implementing and monitoring legal compliance measures, planning and controlling the budget, and understanding Papa John's culture. Assistant Managers assist the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the restaurant.

"Assistant Managers" assume responsibility for a majority of the duties of the General Manager in his or her absence, including but not limited to: ensuring product quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, management of employee issues (such as adjusting hours of work, handling employee grievances, assigning work, training, supervision, evaluation of employees, and recommending discipline, when appropriate), providing for the safety and security of employees, customers and company property, and implementing and monitoring legal compliance measures. Assistant Managers are regularly responsible for directing the work of two or more team members.
