Report Sorting

If a report supports sorting you can choose fields on which the report will be sorted.  Naturally the report is first sorted by any Grouping fields that are in effect.  The sorts selected are then used to sort the records with the groups.  In this example the report would be sorted by Location and then Hire Date and then Full Name.
