Network Access

Overview

The Network Access page allows you to limit the IP addresses from which access to the current company is granted.  This enhanced security feature offers a greater degree of protection against your users logging in from undesired locations or from unsecure remote networks. 

To turn on this feature simply add an entry to this page, enter the desired allowed IP From and To range in the provided boxes and give this Location a descriptive name.

To turn off this feature simply delete all entries from this page, doing so will enable access to the current company to authenticated users for this company from any IP address.

 

 

Fields

•      Location Name – A descriptive name for this allowed IP Range.

•      Start IP – The starting IP address for the range this should be in the form x.x.x.x where x is from 1 to three digits.

•      End IP – The ending IP address for the range this should be in the form x.x.x.x where x is from 1 to three digits.
